Composed of high-tensile steel main tubes with steel trusses to ensure an optimum rigidity balance, the Z250SL’s trellis frame contributes to its light, nimble handling. In addition to being a key component in the bike’s lightweight, slim design, the elegant frame adds to the Z250SL’s cool, sexy looks.
Compact, all-digital multi-function instrument console includes a bar-graph tachometer, digital speedometer, odometer, dual trip meters, clock, and fuel gauge. Amber backlighting contributes to the Z image and ensures at-a-glance information.
Low Seat Height
The front of the seat is slimmer as it meets the fuel tank. This, and the 785 mm seat height, makes it easier to plant both feet on the ground when stopped. The tandem seat helps support the rider during strong acceleration.
Complementing the 37 mm telescopic front fork, the linkage-equipped Uni-Trak rear suspension contributes to both lightweight handling and riding stability. The shock linkage decreases leverage on the shock as the suspension is compressed. Damping is very light for small bumps, and stronger for big bumps.
